Welcome Back!

This year’s winter break had not been a very interesting one at all. For the whole first week, I had to stay home and do math while my sister got to go on a tour to an Indonesian island (I think). I realized how annoying it gets to stay home pretty much alone (my dad comes home at night). I didn’t have anyone to talk to except my dog, which is not that great of a listener. Though one good thing that I did get out of all this was that I got to sleep. A lot. I woke up at around noon everyday and it felt good to not have to wake up at seven in the morning.

In the second week, my mom, my sister and cousins came back. What a relief! The house is finally noisy again. I got to go shopping in Taipei on Monday. I was so happy to be out of the house! Monday was pretty nice. I got some new clothes and a very warm scarf. The rest of the week was pretty much the same until Thursday night. That night, I ate dinner with a friend that came back from the states and then we went to her house to chat and relax. Then on Friday, I woke up early to go to Taipei again. I went to paintball with a huge group of people and then went another friend’s house to count down. It is 2011 now and might be the busiest year for me, so I hope that this year will go well.
