Holiday Plans

This year’s Chinese New Year holiday will be an exciting one for me. Right now, my cousins and grandparents are already at my house and they are all playing Wii with my sister. The room is filled chatters of the holiday and catching up on things they happened in the last year. Tomorrow, we will all fly to Okinawa, where we will stay for around 4 days. I’m not sure what we will be doing there, but I heard the food would be good.  For me, what we do on this trip wouldn’t be that important to me. I am happy as long as I get to spend some time with my grandparents and cousins and not have to stay home alone like I did for Christmas break! After we get back from Okinawa, we’re going down south to my grandparent’s place. Although I’ve only lived in Ping-Dong when I was one, I always felt much at home over there. I use to visit my grandparents a lot when I was younger, so the house has a lot of my childhood memories. I look forward to spending another Chinese New Year there, even thought it might be just like any other.
