Sin
According to the Marrian-Webster dictionary, sin is "1) an offense especially to God 2) a weakened state of human nature in which the self is estranged from God" This word seems to be closely associated with religion. In fact, according to Christians, everyone, from the time of their birth, are sinners. Everyone are sinners because we are all the descendants of Adams and Eve. They have sinned by eating the forbidden fruit. Everyone is a sinner, so the only way out is to believe in Christianity, and by doing so, God will forgive four sins. Sin is a very powerful and very negative word. It is when people distance themselves from God to do something that is morally wrong. I disagree with the Christian idea that every single person, even newborn babies, is sinners.I believe people become sinners when they commit crimes, or do things that are morally degrading. I also disagree with the idea that people can pay money to get out of sin. I think that idea is pretty absurd. I think the only way people are forgiven is when they do something good to make up for their wrongdoings. I do no believe that I have sinned. Of course I have lied and I have done things that are wrong, but i do not believe that is sin. I think sin is too strong a word to be used in my case.
